在那烽(feng)火連天的抗(kang)戰歲(sui)月(yue),棗莊中興公(gong)司以民族大義為(wei)重,通過停產、炸港、沉(chen)船阻(zu)擋日寇進犯,即(ji)使夢斷中興,也“絕(jue)不資(zi)敵”,“絕(jue)不與日本人合作!”這種驚天壯舉成為(wei)山東能(neng)源百(bai)年歷史上最閃光、最悲壯的一頁(ye)……
1929年初(chu),中興公司(si)(si)聘請德國(guo)采礦專家(jia)克禮柯(ke)為總礦師。克禮柯(ke)上任后,調(diao)整優(you)化礦井(jing)布局,改(gai)變落后的生(sheng)產方式,引(yin)進(jin)德國(guo)的先進(jin)設備,使煤炭產量成(cheng)倍增加。1933年,第三大井(jing)建成(cheng)投(tou)產,公司(si)(si)如虎(hu)添翼(yi),煤炭日產量達到7000多噸。為了(le)緩解(jie)運銷(xiao)壓力,拓寬銷(xiao)售門路,開(kai)辟國(guo)際市場,中興公司(si)(si)采取了(le)三大舉(ju)措(cuo):
一是投巨資興建(jian)(jian)(jian)連云港碼頭(tou)。該港1933年7月動工(gong)興建(jian)(jian)(jian),1936年1月竣工(gong)。港內建(jian)(jian)(jian)有東西(xi)兩(liang)座碼頭(tou),航道長5公里,疏(shu)浚水(shui)深5~6米(mi),可停(ting)靠(kao)4000噸級輪船6艘,每小(xiao)時可裝運煤600噸。港內還建(jian)(jian)(jian)有500KVA交流(liu)發電機1臺,燈塔兩(liang)處(chu),其(qi)他設施如車(che)站、停(ting)車(che)場、貨(huo)棧、裝卸設備等一應俱全,成為當時國內一流(liu)的大型運煤碼頭(tou)。
二是修通(tong)了臺(tai)兒莊(zhuang)至(zhi)(zhi)隴(long)(long)海線(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)趙墩車站的鐵(tie)路支線(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)。連云港(gang)煤碼頭(tou)建(jian)成后,中興(xing)公(gong)司又出資100萬元,于(yu)1933年12月動工修建(jian)了臺(tai)兒莊(zhuang)向南延至(zhi)(zhi)隴(long)(long)海線(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)趙墩車站31公(gong)里的鐵(tie)路支線(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)。1935年3月與隴(long)(long)海鐵(tie)路接軌通(tong)車,使中興(xing)運煤比原來繞道徐州再入隴(long)(long)海線(xian)(xian)(xian)(xian)縮短行(xing)程100公(gong)里,節省(sheng)時間1/3。
三(san)是(shi)大力發展(zhan)航(hang)(hang)運(yun)業務。1933年(nian),中(zhong)(zhong)興(xing)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司投(tou)資150萬(wan)購買(mai)了輪(lun)船(chuan)7艘(sou)、拖(tuo)輪(lun)鐵(tie)駁(bo)9艘(sou),成(cheng)立了中(zhong)(zhong)興(xing)輪(lun)船(chuan)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司。為了擴大航(hang)(hang)運(yun)規(gui)模,1937年(nian)7月(yue)通過發行股票,改組(zu)成(cheng)立了中(zhong)(zhong)興(xing)輪(lun)船(chuan)股份有(you)限(xian)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司。輪(lun)船(chuan)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司設在上(shang)海派克(ke)路6號,第(di)一任董事長(chang)是(shi)黎元洪之子黎紹基。鼎盛時有(you)貨輪(lun)9艘(sou),拖(tuo)輪(lun)3艘(sou),小火輪(lun)1艘(sou),加(jia)上(shang)駁(bo)船(chuan)共19艘(sou),載(zai)荷達(da)4萬(wan)余噸(dun),是(shi)全(quan)國著名的輪(lun)船(chuan)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司。其中(zhong)(zhong),“中(zhong)(zhong)興(xing)三(san)號”輪(lun)船(chuan)是(shi)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司遠洋船(chuan)隊中(zhong)(zhong)較大的一艘(sou),這艘(sou)客(ke)貨兩用船(chuan)總噸(dun)位6000噸(dun),可載(zai)重3300噸(dun),載(zai)客(ke)850人,在當(dang)時的中(zhong)(zhong)國堪稱“巨(ju)輪(lun)”。
1937年“七七”事變發生(sheng)后(hou),日本(ben)侵略軍大舉南下,給生(sheng)產、運輸蒸蒸日上的中(zhong)(zhong)興(xing)公司(si)(si)帶來滅頂(ding)之(zhi)(zhi)災。為躲避戰亂、保家衛國、抵御日寇,在(zai)1938年3月(yue)(yue)18日棗莊(zhuang)淪(lun)陷之(zhi)(zhi)前(qian),中(zhong)(zhong)興(xing)公司(si)(si)就將棗莊(zhuang)礦區的各(ge)種主要設備拆除,或(huo)轉移(yi)掩埋或(huo)西遷武漢(han),解散(san)人員,全礦停產,中(zhong)(zhong)興(xing)公司(si)(si)辦事機(ji)構遷往武漢(han)。日軍占領(ling)中(zhong)(zhong)興(xing)煤礦后(hou),實行軍事管制。同時,軟硬兼施,拉(la)攏中(zhong)(zhong)興(xing)公司(si)(si)與其(qi)“合(he)作”。1938年4月(yue)(yue),中(zhong)(zhong)興(xing)公司(si)(si)董事會在(zai)漢(han)口作出決議(yi):“絕不與日本(ben)人合(he)作!”
5月,在東海(hai)(hai)和黃海(hai)(hai)待命(ming)的日本海(hai)(hai)軍艦(jian)艇,準備占領(ling)連(lian)云(yun)港(gang)(gang),然后計劃攻(gong)下徐州。中興公司總部下令(ling),撤出在上海(hai)(hai)和連(lian)云(yun)港(gang)(gang)的辦事處,同意英軍征(zheng)用(yong)正在海(hai)(hai)外(wai)行駛的4艘輪(lun)船,并責令(ling)連(lian)云(yun)港(gang)(gang)分廠經(jing)理浦禹嶠炸毀碼頭、裝煤機(ji)等機(ji)械設施,把停靠在連(lian)云(yun)港(gang)(gang)的三艘輪(lun)船炸沉封港(gang)(gang),堵住航道入口,以阻(zu)止日軍艦(jian)進港(gang)(gang)!
南京淪陷(xian)后,為阻止日(ri)(ri)(ri)軍沿(yan)長江(jiang)西進,按照南京政府的部署(shu),中(zhong)興(xing)輪船(chuan)公司(si)還有多艘輪船(chuan)在江(jiang)陰炸沉江(jiang)中(zhong)。多年(nian)辛(xin)苦建設經營的連云港和(he)(he)輪船(chuan)公司(si)毀(hui)于(yu)一旦,但(dan)是中(zhong)興(xing)公司(si)寧可沉船(chuan)江(jiang)海,也要阻止日(ri)(ri)(ri)寇進犯;寧可停(ting)工停(ting)產受損失,也絕不與日(ri)(ri)(ri)寇合作(zuo)的愛國(guo)壯舉(ju)震驚全國(guo),激發(fa)了社會(hui)各(ge)界的抗日(ri)(ri)(ri)熱情,《大公報》等新聞(wen)媒體高度贊揚中(zhong)興(xing)公司(si)的民族氣節和(he)(he)家國(guo)情懷。
抗戰勝利后(hou),中(zhong)興(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)輪船(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司(si)(si)(si)多方籌集資金,陸續向美國(guo)(guo)購得海(hai)輪7艘(sou),恢復了(le)正常經營。1948年,國(guo)(guo)民(min)(min)黨當(dang)局(ju)強(qiang)行征用中(zhong)興(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)輪船(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司(si)(si)(si)停泊在上海(hai)的(de)海(hai)輪,向臺(tai)灣基(ji)隆(long)港(gang)撤退(tui)運兵(bing)。黎紹基(ji)親(qin)自赴臺(tai)灣與(yu)國(guo)(guo)民(min)(min)黨交涉。以輪船(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)維修為名,設(she)法讓(rang)一(yi)部分船(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)只駛(shi)離臺(tai)灣,停泊在香港(gang)。新中(zhong)國(guo)(guo)成(cheng)立后(hou),黎紹基(ji)為董事(shi)兼總經理,組成(cheng)中(zhong)興(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司(si)(si)(si)新的(de)董事(shi)機構。讓(rang)中(zhong)興(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)輪船(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司(si)(si)(si)停泊在香港(gang)的(de)輪船(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)駛(shi)回大陸。這一(yi)義舉,對后(hou)來的(de)中(zhong)國(guo)(guo)航(hang)(hang)空公(gong)(gong)(gong)司(si)(si)(si)和(he)中(zhong)央(yang)航(hang)(hang)空公(gong)(gong)(gong)司(si)(si)(si)的(de)起義起到(dao)了(le)示范和(he)推動作用。1949年10月,周恩來總理親(qin)切(qie)接見了(le)曾任中(zhong)興(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司(si)(si)(si)董事(shi)長、總經理的(de)朱啟(qi)鈐和(he)黎紹基(ji),詳(xiang)細詢問了(le)中(zhong)興(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)煤礦公(gong)(gong)(gong)司(si)(si)(si)和(he)中(zhong)興(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)輪船(chuan)(chuan)(chuan)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司(si)(si)(si)的(de)情況后(hou)說(shuo):“中(zhong)興(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)(xing)公(gong)(gong)(gong)司(si)(si)(si)的(de)資本(ben)家(jia)是愛(ai)國(guo)(guo)的(de)。”
